Test Valley Borough Council is currently consulting on two draft Development Plan Documents: a Core Strategy and Development Management DPD and a Designations DPD which sets out plans for the various Core Strategy designations including all settlement boundaries. The Core Strategy sets out the proposed locations for development for the Borough until 2031 as well as the policies to be applied in determining planning applications.
The consultation period runs until 17 February 2012. This is the “Regulation 25” consultation which means that the Council will then revise the document taking into account any comments received and publish a Pre-Submission version for a further period of consultation (due in the summer). It is important to make any representations at this stage rather than waiting.
