BCP Council (Christchurch area): Dan Wilden is pleased to have secured planning permission for modifications to a Christchurch marina including installation of gabion baskets and new floating pontoons.

The main issue the proposals raised involved the loss of flood storage in the River Stour flood plain. With the assistance of Godsell Arnold Partnership, we were able to demonstrate that the loss of flood storage was negligible and was outweighed by the economic benefits provided by the marina – leading to planning approval.
