Winchester City Council: Neil McKeon is pleased to have secured planning permission for the erection of a new mezzanine level to create additional office space and storage areas in the Winnall Industrial Estate, Winchester.

The proposed mezzanine creates an open plan office space, storage areas, individual offices and meeting rooms to serve the B8 Use Class unit. Additional window openings were included in order to provide ample light to the upper floor level, as well as alterations to ground floor fenestration and signage on the external elevations of the building.

Pure Town Planning submitted a detailed supporting statement to justify all proposed alterations to the building, demonstrating how this would not only vastly improve the functionality of the building and operation for the future, but also remain fully policy compliant without impacting the surrounding units in the industrial estate. The LPA agreed and subsequently granted planning approval under delegated powers.
