BCP Council (Poole): Matt Annen is pleased to have recently secured planning permission for a remodelled and extended house in Lilliput, Poole. The scheme which was designed by Marlow Architects .

In reaching her positive recommendation the planning officer concluded; “Overall, the proposed scale, bulk and mass of the resultant dwelling would be proportionate to the plot size, which would retain suitable forecourt and rear garden space. The proposed extensions would increase the footprint of the existing dwelling at the front and rear, and see the ridge height raised, however the proposed scale and massing would be acceptable. The dwelling would maintain the setback position from Austin Avenue and therefore would not appear unduly dominant or create a loss of visual amenity”.
