Southampton City Council: Darryl Howells has secured a Certificate of Lawfulness authorising the use of first floor storage as offices (Use Class B1a) in Southampton city centre. The client approached Pure Town Planning to discuss a planning strategy for the redevelopment of his city centre location site to provide residential accommodation. Darryl visited the site and ascertained that the first part of the strategy was to secure a Certificate for the lawful use of the office premises. Darryl collected the evidence with the client, prepared and submitted the application and handled it to a successful outcome within agreed timescales. With the certificate obtained the strategy can move on to the next phase.
