All Councils “encourage” would-be applicants to discuss their proposals with them in advance of making a formal application. However virtually all Councils now charge for you to run initial ideas for development proposals past their Planning Officers before making an application. Occasionally it is worthwhile, however it can be a bit hit-and-miss and all too often it is a complete waste of time and money. Let us advise you so you don’t waste time or money.
