Appeal win Bingham Avenue planning consultant pooleBorough of Poole: Pure Town Planning has recently won another planning appeal, this time in Poole. The appeal site comprised a semi-detached dwelling which stood on the corner with a narrow private lane to which there was vehicle access. The proposal was to create a new detached dwelling behind the original dwelling off the lane.

The Borough of Poole planning officers were of the view that the proposed arrangement would be “cramped and contrived” in appearance and would result in poor living conditions to the existing house.

The applicant approached Pure Town Planning to appeal the decision. We successfully came up with a solution to the living conditions issue proposing a new window in the existing dwelling. We were also able to persuade the Inspector that the proposed dwelling, which was designed by Anders Roberts Cheer, would sit comfortably in its plot and do no harm to the character of the area.

If you have had  a recent planning refusal why not talk to Pure Town Planning for our honest assessment about the prospects for appeal.
