Borough of Poole
: Pure Town Planning are celebrating another successful outcome with an appeal allowed on a site at Tuckers Lane in Hamworthy, Poole.

The application site forms the rear garden land of 19 Tuckers Lane within Tuckers Lane cul-de-sac. Following a previous approval on site to sever the plot and erect a single 3 bed house in March 2014, the applicant submitted a revised scheme to split the approved single dwelling into two x 3 bed semi-detached dwellings. The Borough of Poole refused the application on grounds of being out of keeping with the character and appearance of the area and potential overlooking to Nos. 15 and 17 Tuckers Lane.

Following the submission of the appeal by Pure Town Planning, the Inspector assessed the evidence and disagreed with the judgement of the Council, determining that the proposed dwellings “would not appear cramped in relation to the boundaries of the plot or other properties”  and ultimately was fully satisfied “that the proposal would not harm the character or appearance of the area, or living conditions of any adjoining occupiers” and allowed the appeal and granted planning permission.

If you have recently had planning permission refused and are considering what to do next, why not contact Pure Town Planning on 01202 585524 or email us at info@puretownplanning.co.uk  for an assessment of your chances of success on appeal.
