Pure Town Planning are pleased to be supporting Winchester’s St Cross Symondians Cricket Club for the second year in succession.
St Cross is one of the largest cricket clubs in Hampshire fielding six senior men’s sides on Saturdays as well as fulfilling numerous other weekend and midweek fixtures. In addition the club runs one of the largest and most successful junior sections in the region. The club also has a senior women’s section and three girls teams.
A Pure Town Planning signboard is proudly displayed at the club’s main ground which set in a fantastic location just south of the city of Winchester alongside the water meadows of the River Itchen and the historic Hospital of St Cross and under the shadow of St Catherine’s Hill. The ground has been in use since 1872 when it was originally played by the Rifle Brigade from the nearby Penninsula Barracks.
Pure Town Planning would like to wish all the St Cross Symondians teams the best of luck for the remainder of the season. To find out how to get involved with the club then visit their website here.
