You know how it is – sometimes you can wait years for a good planning policy consultation to come round and then you get three in less than a year. Eastleigh Borough Council seems to be working at a fine pace with the last consultation stage on its new Local Plan finishing only on 13 July 2012 and the next one starting just over a month later. This is the pre-submission consultation on the Eastleigh Borough Local Plan 2011-2029 (ah the good old back-dated plan) which seeks your comments on whether the plan is sound before it is sent off for Examination. The closing date for comments is Friday 12 October 2012.
We can then expect an Examination in spring 2013 and Adoption end of 2013/early 2014.
