Eastleigh Borough Council today launches a new consultation following up its Local Plan consultation in the winter. It seems that the latest evidence suggests under performance against housing figures, partly as a result of lower densities coming forward. So they are having to consult on enlarged housing allocations which includes the huge proposal to build over the whole of the Botley Park Golf Course – some 1400 houses.
