Wiltshire Council: Darryl Howells has secured planning permission to vary a condition imposed on a decision notice issued in 2004, for the conversion of a pair of houses into 4 terraced houses. Condition 4 of the original consent required the implementation of a car parking and turning area, as shown on an approved plan.The client wanted to implement a revised parking layout, as doing so would vastly improve the setting to the development and also provided more amenity space. The client approached Pure Town Planning to seek that variation to the condition which would allow the revised layout to be implemented. The first proposed arrangement was objected to on highway safety grounds, so Darryl suggested an alternative layout which was accepted by the Highway officers and supported by the the Local Planning Authority.
