Approved dwellings at Four Marks planning consultant HampshireEast Hampshire District Council: Pure Town Planning are pleased to have assisted our developer client in obtaining full planning permission for two new detached houses on a garden site in Four Marks, Hampshire.

The application site is the unusually large front garden of a bungalow plot lying on the corner of a small cul-de-sac. After some deliberation the East Hampshire Planning Officer agreed that the site could be developed in a way which would be in keeping with the street but they sought changes to the original scheme. The architect Hurrell Architecture revised the plans accordingly until the officer’s were content.

It seems the area suffers from poor drainage resulting in the roads occasionally flooding in high rainfall. With the help of specialist consultants, we demonstrated that with a sensibly designed drainage scheme for the site the development would discharge water at no quicker rate than at present – hence would not exacerbate the current problems at all.
