Borough of Poole: Darryl Howells has secured full planning permission for the demolition of an existing building and the erection of 2 no. 3 storey contemporary houses in Daylesford Close, Poole.  The scheme, drawn by b3 architecture Limited of Wareham, consisted of each house having 4 bedrooms with large living and kitchen rooms. The houses are of contemporary appearance and use of exterior materials such as natural stone, white render and aluminium framing.

The Borough of Poole, the Local Planning Authority, approved the scheme using their delegated powers as Pure Town Planning’s planning statement had successfully demonstrated the acceptability of the scheme having regard to adopted planning policies.  In granting planning permission, the Council agreed with Darryl that the principle of the plot sub-division was acceptable; the design of the building positively contributed to the emerging character of the area; there would be no material harm to neighbouring amenities or nearby trees; and accorded with Council’s parking requirements.
