Wiltshire Council: Darryl Howells has secured full planning permission for the demolition of a dated bungalow and the erection of three 4-bedroom townhouses with detached garages. The scheme received the planning officer’s recommendation to approve and the full support of the Planning Committee last week.

The scheme followed a previous consent that Darryl had obtained for a pair of detached bungalows positioned in the rear garden of the site, but accessed from the same vehicular access off Park Lane, Salisbury.

During the application, the planning officer posed several questions to Darryl in respect of the impact to neighbouring privacy, light and tree protection. Through the pro-actively working approach that Darryl has adopted, he successfully negotiated a solution and put sound arguments to support the client’s scheme in planning policy terms.

Upon receiving planning permission, the client was very pleased and thanked Darryl for his contribution and his professionalism throughout the whole planning process.
