This consent innovatively transforms a uninspiring bungalow into a state of the art, two-storey dwelling. The stunning contemporary design was created by local firm DMW Architects and is finished with a modern palette of stone, render with weathered timber cladding, with extensive full-height glazing and clean, crisp lines. The internal layout will be totally modernised bringing well and truly into the 21st Century.
Following some negotiation with the appointed planning officer they were content that the proposal would overcome concerns raised on previous schemes and would; “integrate well with the street scene”, “would not have a significant overbearing impact on the neighbours” and “the neighbours’ privacy would be preserved”.
