Secondary access Branksome Park planning consultant pooleBorough of Poole: Pure Town Planning have recently secured planning permission to form a secondary access at a property within the Branksome Park Conservation Area. The accompanying plans were produced by Empery + Co.

New accesses within the Branksome Park Conservation Area tend to be resisted due to the loss of vegetation and hedging and subsequent deemed harm to the appearance of the Conservation Area. With this in mind, Pure Town Planning put together a thorough statement showing that through appropriate conditions and careful consideration of the siting of the new access point it should be granted planning permission.

Despite there being concern from the Conservation Officer, the Borough of Poole Planning Officer considered that, with the hedge remaining on site and as the access is not dissimilar to other access points within the Conservation Area, on balance it should be approved,

If you are planning on changes around your house which might need planning permission such as forming your own secondary access point then why not contact us on 01202 585524 or info@puretownplanning.co.uk for a free confidential 30-minute consultation on how we could help you.
