BCP Council (Bournemouth):   Darryl Howells is pleased to secure retrospective planning permission for alterations to a house in the East Cliff Conservation Area in Bournemouth. The unauthorised works comprised erection of a rear extension with a balcony above, creation of a dormer with balcony on the front elevation and installation of air-conditioning units to the side of the house. The plans were drawn by local draughtsman NA Palmer Design Ltd and were supported by a robust planning and heritage statement prepared by Darryl. The application was well received by the planning and conservation officers, which led to the grant of planning permission quickly under the officers’ delegated powers.

If you have constructed a building or extension that may have required planning permission but for various reasons were not sought, then please contact one of planning consultants to assess the merits and advise have best to obtain retrospective permission.
