BCP Council (Bournemouth): Matt Annen, director of Pure Town Planning is very happy to have secured planning permission for a new build scheme consisting of 14 flats in a warehouse-style building in Westbourne. This revised scheme improved upon a previously approved scheme (in February 2021) for 12 flats. The scheme was once again designed by; Anders Roberts Cheer Architects.

Following the previous permission (see the previous consent here), we advised the client that following the adoption of the new parking SPD in BCP Council, if they were to forego the parking a further 2 flats could be secured.

Not only this, but with the help of a robust supporting viability report prepared by S106 Affordable Housing the District Valuer accepted a £91,000 reduction in affordable housing contribution from that of the approved scheme.

If you have secured a planning permission and are wondering whether that consent maximises the development potential of the site, then why not give us a call or email info@puretownplanning.co.uk for a free of charge, confidential planning appraisal.
