Winchester City Council: Pure Town Planning have secured planning permission for replacement gates in Springvale Road, Kings Worthy, Winchester.  The scheme, drawn by Pure Town Planning, consisted of 1.8 metre high solid oak gates at the entrance to a residential driveway. As the gates were over 1m high and adjacent to the highway, planning permission was required.

Winchester City Council, the Local Planning Authority, approved the scheme using their delegated powers as Pure Town Planning’s planning statement had successfully demonstrated the acceptability of the scheme having regard to adopted planning policies.  In granting planning permission, the Council agreed that the principle of the new gates was acceptable; the design of the gates positively contributed to the landscape character of the area and there would be no material harm to highway safety.

If you are contemplating a new development project, large or small, and would like to submit an application or if you’ve had planning permission refused then why not call the experts at Pure Town Planning on 01202 585524 or email info@puretownplanning.co.uk for a FREE 30 minute consultation on how we can help you.
