BCP Council: Neil McKeon of Pure Town Planning has secured full planning permission for a replacement dwelling at the corner of Mornish Road and Bury Road in Poole.
The scheme designed by BrightSpace Architects sees the demolition of the existing building and erection of a 1 1/2 storey, 4 bedroom replacement dwelling with outdoor swimming pool. The proposal is inspired by a New England style of architecture which sits comfortably within the sylvan context of the Branksome Park Conservation Area.
Whilst the new dwelling delivers a much larger footprint than that of the existing house, it has been designed to provide an appropriate balance between built form, amenity space and improved landscaping. This design approach was considered by Council Officers to provide a visual improvement within the Mornish Road streetscene.
