New Forest District Council: Neil McKeon is pleased to have secured planning permission for a new dwelling to the rear of School Road in Eling, Totton.

The revised scheme sees a plot severance and erection of a two-storey family dwelling with newly formed access fronting Fisher’s Road, with modifications to the external finish, fenestration, roof form and siting of the building.

Officers supported the proposal and confirmed that the new dwelling would remain comparable to that of adjacent properties on Fisher’s Road. The proposal was considered acceptable in all regards relating to neighbouring amenity and privacy, whilst the overall character and appearance of School Road and Fisher’s Road was safeguarded and respected.
