Bournemouth Borough Council: After Pure Town Planning had secured planning permission for a block of 11 flats on Boscombe Overcliff Drive in Bournemouth, our client approached us during the construction of the development asking us if we could then achieve a further consent to convert the two top floor flats as approved into a single large penthouse apartment.
It turned out that our client had been approached by a buyer seeking a very large penthouse and who wanted to purchase the whole of the top floor. The approved scheme had this floor arranged as two apartments side-by-side. Pure Town Planning set to work and together with Harriplan, who amended their previous drawings, we were able to quickly persuade Bournemouth Borough Council that the proposal would not cause any harm to the approved development or the character of the area. Planning permission was achieved well before the target date for this luxurious four bedroom penthouse apartment which boasts a large living space with terrace on three sides and uninterupted 180 degree panoramic views over Poole Bay.
The development should be completed by the end of this year and we can’t wait to see the finished article.
