Tandridge District Council: The Pure Town Planning approval train shows no sign of stopping! We have just secured another great planning permission for substantial extensions and a complete “facelift” to a 1930’s  house in Surrey mid way between Crawley and Royal Tunbridge Wells. Again demonstrating that  just because although currently we only have offices in Dorset and Hampshire, we can handle projects successfully throughout the country.

The owners of the property had previously tried and failed to secure planning permission for substantial extensions to their property. Pure Town Planning were called in to put forward and execute a comprehensive  planning strategy in order to achieve the goals of the client. The plans were prepared by local (to us) architect;  Tony Holt Design who tailored the scale, layout and appearance of the scheme to fit with the context of the site whilst achieving the level of floorspace set out in the client’s brief. Whilst the resultant property was significantly larger (wider, longer and taller) than the existing house on the site, because of the initial preparation that was done in order to present the application in the best possible light, along with a degree of gentle persuasion, the appointed planning officer at Tandridge District Council came round to our way of thinking and agreed that the proposal would enhance the character of the area and comply with all adopted local planning policies.
