Sevenoaks District Council: Pure Town Planning working closely with Tony Holt Design have recently secured an excellent consent for a client in the metropolitan green belt near Sevenoaks in Kent. The existing property is an unusual dwelling created some years ago by the conversion of various agricultural buildings. The place was a run-down mess when our clients took over but they recognised the incredible potential of the place. They had to put in some work obtaining evidence to secure lawful development certificates from the Council to establish the extent of the buildings in lawful residential use and the extent of the curtilage. With the lawful position established, we were able to wind our way through tricky green belt policies to eventually secure consent for a fantastic 5000 sq ft single storey dwelling in a highly contemporary style.
