The proposed works were designed to largely mirror that of the adjacent semi-detached property which has been extended and converted into 5 flats, which Pure Town Planning have also assisted in securing planning permission. The proposal sought rear extensions to the existing HMO to create a suitable layout for 4 flats without creating any harm to neighbouring amenity and privacy.
During the course of the application, on-going consultation was maintained with respective Council Officers to ensure all aspects of the proposal remained policy compliant. Revisions to the plans (prepared by Now Architecture) were made to the satisfaction of both the Officers and the client, to secure the all-important support from the Council to establish the change of use to flats.
