BCP Council: Matt Annen, a Director of the firm, is pleased to confirm that he has recently secured advertisement consent for erection of a fascia sign externally illuminated by LED lighting and an externally illuminated projecting sign. The signs are in assciation with River Aesthetics new town centre cosmetic clinic which we also recently secured a change of use for them on (report here).
Given the sensitive location, we put together a Planning Statement setting out the merits of the proposal. The statement demonstrated that the proposed advertisements were of an appropriate design and respectful scale and location that would be in-keeping with the character of the area. In addition, through an assessment of the surrounding area, we demonstrated that the signs would reflect the site’s commercial character and would sit harmoniously within the street scene.
Upon consideration of the application, BCP Council agreed and granted consent. The advertisements have now been installed and look great!
