BCP Council (Poole area): Neil McKeon has successfully secured planning permission for the erection of an end-of-terrace, two bedroom dwelling at Maureen Close in Poole.

The application site is located towards the eastern end of a residential cul-de-sac at Maureen Close, comprising the side garden of the existing property. The proposal splits the irregular shaped corner plot, creating a new end of terrace dwelling, garden and parking provision to serve the additional house.

The proposal, designed by Anders Roberts Cheer Architects for Harlequin Homes, delivers an appropriately sized dwelling which respects the character and appearance of its neighbouring terrace development whilst ensuring adequate garden and parking provision is retained to both the existing and proposed houses.

Following in-depth discussions with the Planning Officer, it was agreed that the new dwelling would not create any detrimental harm to the privacy or amenity of neighbouring properties to Maureen Close or Rosemary Road – marking yet another planning approval in the wider Rosemary Road area for Pure Town Planning, Anders Roberts Cheer Architects and Harlequin Homes.
