Dorset Council: Matt Annen has successfully secured planning permission for alterations and conversion of a former brewery building into three self contained flats with associated cycle & bin store and formation of 6 car parking spaces and one visitor space. The scheme was designed by Now Architecture for mutual clients KTM Design.

The existing building contained a maisonette and a small flat and the proposal saw the internal re-configuration to form three good sized flats. Paragraph 80 of the NPPF supports the sub-division of a residential building within the countryside and therefore the principle of development is considered acceptable.

Whilst there were three Grade II listed buildings within the area, given the alterations to the building were largely internal it was considered that their setting is unaffected by the proposed development.
