BCP Council: Darryl Howells has secured five separate Certificates of Lawfulness, authorising five flats in a building in Bournemouth town centre that was converted without the benefit of planning permission.

The client instructed Darryl, in acknowledgement of the planning enforcement expertise that Darryl gained during his 16 years of Local Planning Authority experience.  On his advice, the client provided evidence of Council Tax bills, tenancy agreements and bills, that was sufficient to demonstrate that each of the units had been in occupation for the past 4 years.

The Senior Enforcement Officer fully agreed with the justification that Darryl provided and concluded that the Certificates should be issued without delay.
