BCP Council (Poole area): Matt is delighted to announce that after a 5 month long application process he has secured planning permission for alterations, extensions and conversion of the an existing dwelling into a pair of semi-detached properties and associated works.

Conifer Park has seen little development since its original construction in the 1960s, albeit we are starting to see a number of schemes come forward.  However, owing to the large plot size the applicant saw an opportunity to secure two dwellings on the site and instructed Pure Town Planning in associated with architects; SF Arch to prepare, submit and manage a planning application accordingly. During the statutory consultation period no letters of objection were received at all which is very rare these days!

Pure Town Planning presented a robust planning case set out within the supporting Design, Access and Planning Statement why the principle was acceptable and justifying the plot sizes and also that within the surrounding streetscene semi-detached residential properties were common and account for approximately half of the housing stock in the area. The planning officer agreed and was happy to make a favourable recommendation to his team leader with very few changes to the scheme itself and the decision was signed off and planning permission was granted.
