BCP Council (Poole area): Jess Glover is delighted to announce that she has recently secured planning permission for alterations, remodel and upwards extension to create a third storey to the existing dwelling on Lagoon Road, Poole. The plans were prepared by XC Design.

The scheme sought to revitalise the existing dwelling and add an additional storey to provide a master bedroom with ensuite and dressing room which maximises views across Poole Harbour from the southerly facing aspect.

This scheme followed an appeal which was dismissed, however the Inspector considered the principle of a third storey was acceptable, subject to some design changes.

During the application process we provided a comprehensive rebuttal to any third party comments to justify that the scheme was acceptable in terms of character and appearance of the area and neighbouring amenity.

The client was very pleased with the decision and is now preparing for development on the site.
