Discussions were held with the Council’s Planning Officer throughout the process to ensure the proposed alterations were acceptable. Following this consultation, the Planning Officer concluded:

·The proposal would respect the character and appearance of the street scene and the wider surrounding area.
·Neighbouring amenities and privacy would be preserved subject to conditions.
·Protected and amenity trees would not be harmed as part of the proposed works, and would be subject to conditions.
