New Forest District Council: Dan Wilden has recently secured advertisement consent for a new illuminated sign on the gable end wall of a commercial property in New Milton town centre.

The wall in question has a recent planning history since a large logo was painted on there without advertisement consent. Unfortunately our client received incorrect advice from the signage company – a sign painted directly onto a building does require advertisement consent. After a prolonged battle to retain the painted logo, ultimately it did have to be painted over. But now we have received consent for a smaller logo sign to be fixed on the wall but one which is illuminated.
