BCP Council (Poole): Neil McKeon is delighted to announce that he has successfully secured full planning permission for the demolition of existing dwellings and erection of 11 semi-detached and terraced houses on Blandford Road for local developer clients, Homer Developments.

Following a previous refusal on the site, Pure Town Planning were instructed to handle the revised application in conjunction with David James Architects. This has been an extensive process with ourselves at PTP and Officers at BCP Council, with the further assistance of Scott Tree Services and CGS Civils – all of whom were instrumental in the process.

The scheme sees the demolition of three dwellings to foster the 11 house development which successfully integrates into the Blandford Road streetscene, whilst ensuring the rear of site dwellings respect the amenity and privacy of surrounding properties at Blandford Road, Allens Road and each other.

The proposal represents the culmination of thorough negotiations between PTP, consultees and the Council Officers to resolve the previous objections and deliver a high-quality revised residential scheme, approved under delegated powers.
