Glenville Road Highcliffe appeal planning consultant DorsetChristchurch Borough Council: Pure Town Planning have just won another appeal in Christchurch Borough resulting in planning permission being granted for a new dwelling at Walkford near Highcliffe.

Glenville Road Highcliffe appeal planning consultant BournemouthThe appeal site was a small triangle of land, one of those unusual sites which has been left over as the surrounding area developed. Christchurch Borough Council had turned down the application for one dwelling on the plot deciding that it was too tight and would appear cramped and have an overbearing impact on some adjacent flats. So the developer approached Pure Town Planning to appeal the decision.

We were successfully able to persuade the Inspector that the proposed dwelling, designed by architects Anders Roberts Cheer, would actually have a positive impact on the street scene and also that the proposal would not have a detrimental impact on the amenities of the flats. The planning appeal was therefore allowed.
