Borough of Poole: Pure Town Planning are pleased to announce that we have secured planning permission for alterations and two storey extensions to a dwelling in Branksome Park.
The scheme involved a sensitively designed ground and first floor extension to the front and rear of the dwelling with newly proposed double height front gable entrance. The remodelled 5-bedroom dwelling delivers an eye-catching design, incorporating new open-plan kitchen/living room space and orangery room to the ground floor. At first floor level, the proposal secures an en-suite bedroom as well as a spacious master bedroom with external terrace with an additional cinema room in the roof space.
Great care was taken with the proposed design given the site’s location within the Branksome Park and Chine Gardens Conservation Area and a Tree Preservation Area. On-going consultation between Pure Town Planning and the Borough of Poole Planning Officer ensured that the Council were fully satisfied with all aspects of this significantly enlarged dwelling. The respective Officers concluded the development would enhance the character and appearance of the property and its contribution to the Conservation Area without harming the street scene or amenity of neighbouring properties on Western Avenue.
