Borough of Poole: Pure Town Planning are pleased to announce that we have secured planning permission for a plot severance and the erection of a pair of detached dwellings in Newtown, Poole.

The proposal creates a newly formed rear of site access drive off Cynthia Road serving 2 x 3 bed chalet bungalows with associated parking provision. Due to the extensive rear gardens of the parent properties, the proposal secures an appropriately sized plot to accommodate both bungalows and private rear garden spaces, whilst ensuring ample separation gaps are retained between surrounding properties to both Cynthia Road to the south and Jacqueline Road to the northern boundary.

The approved design, prepared by Footprint Architects, maximises the floorspace to both units, ensuring a spacious internal layout of open plan living areas and generous bedroom provision. Given the secluded nature of the application site, boundary planting and setback from the road, the development would be largely obscured from surrounding public vantage points off Cynthia Road. The Borough of Poole planning officers were satisfied that the new dwellings would not detract from the emerging pattern of development in this specific locality and safeguards the residential amenity of neighbouring properties, thereby granting planning permission.
