Borough of Poole: Pure Town Planning is delighted to have secured planning consent for a brand new detached dwelling to slot into the street frontage in a road in the Whitecliff area of Lower Parkstone, Poole.

Sometimes you see a gap in a street frontage and you wonder “why didn’t they build a house there” or if you are a developer “I wonder if I could get one in there”. Is it just a touch narrow? Would it look out of place compared to the existing houses? Would you have to set it back behind the building line to get car parking in front? This latest approval was just such one of those sites. The building had to be narrower than those existing in the street to fit it in and to compensate had to be deeper too. It also had to be set back a touch behind the building line to get parking in front. Nonetheless we were able to persuade the planning officer at the Borough of Poole that the proposal, designed by Union Architecture, would sit comfortably in the street scene and complement the character of the area.

If you have a potential plot and wonder if you might just get something on there why not contact Pure Town Planning for a free consultation and see what we think?
