Borough of Poole: Pure Town Planning has just secured planning permission for a change of use from Use Classs B1 (Business) and Use Class B8 (Storage) use to a flexible B1, B8 and Use Class B2 (general industrial) use in the Nuffield Industrial Estate in Poole.

We were approached by a local shopfitting company who were interested in acquiring the premises to accommodate their expanding operations. However the lawful use of the industrial unit in question did not have the right use for the nature of their business – they required Use Class B2. Pure Town Planning put together a robust argument explaining that there would be no ‘harmful’ impact on the character of the industrial estate nor would there be any detriment to neighbouring amenities (through potential noise and disturbance and highway safety).

Planning permission was approved first time within the 8 week application deadline. If you own a commercial premises and would like to explore the possibilities of a change of use, or even perhaps an extension of hours or signage application at your premises, then Pure Town Planning are on hand to help – give us a call.
