Dan is a founding Director having started Pure Town Planning with Matt in 2011.
Dan originally trained in Product Design at Bournemouth University and spent some time designing domestic goods for the likes of Hotpoint and Dyson. A spell editing maps for the Ordnance Survey in Southampton persuaded him to seek a different path. Dan retrained as a Town Planner at the University of Reading where in 2006 he obtained a Master of Science degree with Distinction and was awarded a prize from the Royal Town Planning Institute for his academic work.
Dan has over 20 years experience working in planning consultancy on the south-coast including working for one of the largest national planning consultancies and a couple of years for one of the country’s leading retirement housing developers.
Dan enjoys working on a variety of different planning projects large and small. He is known for his knowledge of the technical side of planning and planning law.
